There was fire outbreak yesterday at Awolowo Hall at about 11pm, thank God for the Match between Argentina and Holland as there not much people around; all the students went to the Post Graduate hall to watch the match.
Awo block 7 was affected, there was no water within the hall because of the on-going strike in the school but the OAU fire fighters eventually put out the fire which had already done its damage.
The cause of the fire is unknown but some of the students around are pointing hands at the authority, they said its their plot to send all the remaining students on campus home.
