A New York woman has been arrested and charged with second degree murder after she  made one of the sickest Facebook status updates ever, posting pictures of her dead baby’s corpse after smothering the helpless tot at bedtime.<br />
<br />
Nicole “Nikki” Kelly uploaded an image of<br />
11-month-old Kiam Felix Jr. lying in a white suit and tie with the caption “RIP Tinkabutt,” alongside a picture of his body in a hospital bed. She also posted a rambling Facebook screed in which she admitted she failed to “protect” the boy. Kelly wrote:<br />
“Missing my baby boy so much wish there was some way I could bring him back to life. I feel horrible knowing he passed away. Am his Mother, I was supposed to protect him. I<br />
know his spirit will always be around me.?”<br />
<br />
However, what Kelly didn’t say was that, she had killed the boy on Sunday by putting a sheet over his face as she tucked him into bed. Kelly watched the tot struggle to breathe before callously leaving him alone to die. When she came back a half-hour later, she found him blue and unresponsive, said Queens DA Richard Brown.  When the boy’s father, Kiam Felix Sr., arrived at the family’s Elmhurst home several hours later, he rushed the boy to Elmhurst Hospital. Brown said that Kelly, when cops asked why she did it, allegedly said, “I reached my breaking point, I didn’t want him anymore.”<br />
<br />
Kelly was charged with second-degree murder and was undergoing a psych exam at Elmhurst Hospital. If convicted, she faces up to 25 years to life in prison.<br />

The first wife of the late Are Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Arisekola-Alao, 63 is dead.<br />
She died on Tuesday in a motor accident in Ilorin, Kwara State.<br />
She will be buried today (Wednesday) according to Islamic rite in her house, Larry Quarters, Apata, Ibadan, at 4:00 p.m.<br />

Her Son, Wole confirmed the news on facebook.<br />
He wrote;”With deep sense of loss and sadness, I announce the tragic loss of our mother, Alhaja Jelilat Arisekola Alao,(mummy Abdul) the eldest wife of Late Aare Arisekola Alao who died last night in a ghastly motor accident . She will be buried according to Islamic rites today 2nd of July in ibadan. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen”.<br />

The death of Alhaja Arisekola-Alao, occured two weeks after the death of her husband, Alhaji Arisekola-Alao. This is really sad, may her gently soul rest in perfect peace.<br />

The remains of the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Chief Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao, have been laid to rest at his Oluwokekere, Bashorun, Ibadan residence.<br />
<br />
Eminent personalities which included former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bode George, ace musician, King Sunny Ade and so much more were all present to pay their last respect to the late billionaire businessman/philanthropist.<br />
<br />
Arisekola-Alao had died in London on Wednesday, few hours before he was due to return to<br />
Nigeria. May his soul rest in perfect peace.<br />

 In a shocking footage, a Romanian couple drowned while people laughed and filmed them, doing nothing to help.<br />
The incident which happened over the weekend saw 47-year-old Calin Neagu and his 45-year-old wife Dana trying to cross over the rain-swollen Jiu river in southern Romania.They were in two carts being dragged by a horse when the current was too high for the horse to cope and the horse struggling to drag the load across the river, came to a halt.A fisherman watching rushed to help them by beating the horse hoping it would move them before the current swept them away but it didn't budge ..As the three of them struggled to stay balanced, an unknown group filmed the incident, finding it funny.<br />

A voice was heard saying<br />
"She is drowning man. Haha.'..Another adds,'Are they drowned man?'.<br />
After the couple finally sink into the water, the final words of the people filming the video are:<br />
'Man, where are they?'<br />
Local police said that divers recovered the couple's bodies from the water several hours later, and are now investigating their deaths.The fisherman who entered the water to help the couple survived , as did the horse.<br />

Man Roasted To death By Ex-Lover

A 35 -year old woman named Esohe Ogbeiwi has allegedly roasted her ex-lover, Peter Osayi to death in Edo state following a dispute.<br />
According to family members, the deceased had a dispute with the suspect who had two children for him and she was said to have invited him for settlement.<br />
He went to her house for the settlement, unknown to him that she had planned his death. At the point of settlement, she was said to have poured petrol on him after which she lit a match and set him ablaze.<br />
The Nation reports that Osayi was rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) but unfortunately, he died a day later.<br />
<br />
Esohe was subsequently arrested by the police in Edo State and the case transferred to the homicide department of the Nigerian Police.<br />
The victim's brother who gave his name as Moses is calling on the government to give the family justice.<br />
He said, "We want government to give us justice. He was roasted alive. My brother told me before his death that the assailant did not allow him escape."<br />
Confirming the incident, Police spokesman, DSP Uwoh Noble said investigations were still on.<br />

A pregnant woman has been stoned to death by her own family in front of a Pakistani high court - for marrying the man she loved.Nearly 20 members of the woman's family, including her father and brothers, attacked her and her husband with batons and bricks in broad daylight.<br />
Farzana Parveen, who was three months pregnant, was killed before a crowd of onlookers in front of the high court of Lahore.<br />

Butt, the police official, said Parveen's father surrendered after the incident and called the murder an 'honor killing.In honour killings, most of the time the women's killers are her family, said Wasim Wagha of the Aurat Foundation.<br />
The law allows them to nominate someone to do the murder, then forgive him.<br />

At least thirty three children have died after bus driving them home from a church event burst into flames on Sunday, northern town of Fundacion, Colombia.<br />
Presumably the fire occurred through the fault of the bus driver who has already been detained and interrogated. It was learnt that the accident happened when the overcrowded bus was bringing children home from Sunday schools classes.<br />

Former Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has died at the age of 45 after a long battle with throat cancer. Vilanova served as Pep Guardiola's assistant manager for four years, first helping him lead Barcelona B to promotion before taking charge of the first team and winning six major trophies in a three-year period of unprecedented domination. Upon Guardiola's departure in 2012, Vilanova was promoted as his natural successor despite being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2011.<br />
<br />
The departure of a legendary manager can and often does lead to a messy transition for a club like Barcelona, but Vilanova held the team together and took them back to the top of the league. Under Vilanova, Barca set a new club record by winning 18 of the first 19 games of the 2012/13 season.<br />
<br />
In December 2012, the cancer returned, forcing him to leave the team for 10 weeks while he underwent surgery, followed by chemotherapy and radiation treatments a continent away in New York. Though his assistant, Jordi Roura took charge of the day to day work at the club, Vilanova remained the boss. And in March 2013, he returned to the touchline to lead Barcelona back to the Liga title after they failed to win it in Guardiola's last season.<br />
<br />
Even without his illness, this would have been a tremendous feat. Barcelona lost just two matches all season, displaying impressive focus with all that was going on and Vilanova's strength and determination were at the heart of that.<br />
<br />
After that one season in charge, Vilanova was forced to step down as he suffered another relapse and needed to focus solely on his treatment. His inspiration continued to drive the club, though. In October 2013, before a match against Real Madrid, the 98,000 fans at the Camp Nou participated in a mosaic dedicated to Vilanova<br />
<br />
Upon learning of Vilanova's death, Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas posted a message to him. It reads:<br />
<br />
    "<b><i>Tito, thanks for all you have given to football and Barca. All fans love you and are eternally grateful.</i></b><br />
<b><i><br /></i></b>
<b><i>    Personally, I met you 14 years ago and I can say that there are very few people like you. Thank you for always trusting me and helping me improve and overcome personal and professional obstacles.</i></b><br />
<b><i><br /></i></b>
<b><i>    All my condolences to [his wife] Montse, [daughter] Carlota and [son] Adrià and the rest of his family and friends.</i></b><br />
<b><i><br /></i></b>

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who famously poked Vilanova in the eye during one of many fights between Real Madrid and Barcelona was also quick to offer his condolences. From Chelsea's official website:<br />

The flags outside the Camp Nou have been lowered to half mast and tributes from clubs around the world have poured in. The message of "Ciao Tito" was even shown on the video screen at the Stadio Olimpico before Roma's match against Milan.<br />
<br />
Though Vilanova's life was cut far too short, the accomplishments he carved out in the face of his own mortality will forever stand as a reminder of his powerful will and serve as an example to others.<br />

Jim Iyke's mom, Mrs Esomugha who has been sick for a while, even visited India for treatment died on Tuesday night 1st of April, 2014.<br />

Jim Iyke, has however not made any comment as it is learnt his family are mourning her loss.<br />
Jim Iyke who is so close to his mother, publicly declared his love for her on his twitter page last year saying:<br />
God’s force of nature. Mom; Jehovah’s greatest miracle in my life!<br />
Her sacrifices is incomparable, her patience limitless, her place in ur hrt irreplaceable. She’s d barometer I measure all women. I love u mom.”<br />

The police at Sabo station on Tuesday arraigned a 49-year old ‘Pastor’, Moyo Martins at Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court for allegedly cutting off the fingers of a 2-year old girl, Sadiat Faleye. Last week Thursday, Sadiat’s mother left her in the company of the man to quickly go and have her bath. But after about 5mins neighbours alerted her that they heard a loud cry of pain from her daughter and she quickly rushed out in panic. On getting to the man’s room she found two of her daughter’s little fingers lying on the floor including the ring on one of the fingers.<br />
<br />
The girl was quickly rushed to a private hospital for medical attention so she could stop losing blood. Mr Moyo denied ever knowing anything about her chopped off fingers, but when the police came for him, he confessed he sawed off the fingers in his room. He appealed to the mother of the little girl to forgive him because it happened in error.<br />

The three lecturers are Prof. Samuel Kafewo, Dr. Martins Ayegba, and Nanaaisha Ali. The older Oyetoro, Pa Dauda reportedly died on Saturday morning. The deceased was laid to rest according to Islamic rites on Sunday at his country home in Koso, Iseyin, Oyo State.<br />

Ogunsona Daniel Adekunle Adebambo, 30, committed suicide by hanging himself in an uncompleted storey building. Adebambo studied Architecture at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and did his national service in Abia State.</span><br><a href="" name="more"></a></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br>The deceased was found by his younger brother after reading the suicide note he left in their sitting room. He allegedly blamed his action on his girlfriend’s father who refused to allow him marry his daughter. A friend of the deceased disclosed that Bambo, as he was fondly called, killed himself because his fiancee’s father, who is from Ondo State, said his daughter cannot marry him because he is an Ijebu man from Ogun State.<br><br>Many of the sympathisers who gathered at his residence found the excuse for his action difficult to believe. Efforts to speak with his fiancee proved abortive as she refused to talk.<br></span></div></div>
