David Cameron is on course for an extraordinary victory as 'shy Tories' came out at the last moment to keep him in Downing Street. He said it was 'too early to say' what the final result of the General Election would be, but added that there was 'the chance now to build on the foundation' laid in the last parliament.<br />
<br />
But the Tory leader will have to deal with SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon who is cleaning up north of the border, leaving Scotland as a near one-party state.<br />
In a signal that he now accepts he will not be PM, Mr Miliband said the next government 'has a huge responsibility' to hold the UK together.<br />
The SNP tide has swept aside Labour and Lib Dem big beasts including Jim Murphy and Douglas Alexander in a tide of nationalism which has already sparked calls for a second independence referendum.<br />
There are doubts that Mr Miliband will survive as leader until Friday lunchtime, as he faces being left with 17 fewer seats than Gordon Brown, slumping to 239.<br />
Some 50million people were eligible to vote in the most closely fought campaign in a generation. Opinion polls in recent weeks had Labour and the Tories neck and neck, suggesting Britain faced political deadlock.<br />

But an exit poll released at 10pm on Thursday suggested voters switched to the Conservatives at the last moment, giving Mr Cameron an unexpected but welcome boost.<br />

Zimbabwe has been expelled from 2018 World Cup for failing to pay former coach Jose Claudinei Georgini.<br />
<br />
Football's world governing body Fifa said in a statement it had taken the action "as a result of the non-payment of an outstanding debt".<br />
<br />
The governing body also added that Zimbabwe's Football Association (Zifa) failed to make the payments despite a grace period given to them, hence the reason for their suspension.<br />

A school that sparked a row after ‘banning' a pupil, Lynn Nicholls from entering the school when he turned up dressed as a character from Fifty Shades of Grey has hit back at claims it was heavy handed.</div>

Liam arrived at the school in Sale London, yesterday wearing a suit and carrying cable ties and a mask but was told by teachers he must alter his outfit before he could join in with events.</div>

The oldest woman in the world, Japan's Misao Okawa, celebrated her birthday yesterday. the 117-year-old insists living this long is really no big deal.</div>

Okawa celebrated her birthday today early wearing a pink kimono at her nursing home and was presented with a bouquet of flowers. When asked about how she felt about reaching the milestone birthday, she simply said, "It seemed rather short," but added she was "very happy."</div>

Okawa is one of the five documented people born in the 1800s who are still alive today (she was born in 1898). Okawa's predecessor was also Japanese. It's no surprise as Okinawa, Japan is considered to be a "blue zone" where extreme longevity is quite common. It's believed that their plant-based soy-rich diet -- as well as exercise and plenty of sunshine -- all contribute to residents' long lives.</div>

As for Okawa, she's said that eating well, getting her eight hours of sleep at night and knowing how to relax are what have kept her going so long. This revelation was made by South African Ambassador to Nigeria, Lulu Mnguni, at a news conference on Friday.<br /><br />The country had, on September 5, 2014, seized $9.3m cash belonging to Nigeria and a month later seized another $5.7m, claiming that both funds were to be used for illegal purchase of arms.<br /><br />But Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, explained that the transactions were legal, urging the South African Government to stop actions that could degenerate to a diplomatic showdown.<br /><br />Mnguni also spoke on the collapsed building in the Synagogue church in Lagos State and its effect on the relationship between the two countries.<br /><br />He said that the two countries had come a long way and that the development would only make them remain stronger.<br /><br />“South Africa’s relations with Nigeria has come a long way, so now this actually will make us much closer, to see how we can close some of these gaps that result in such accidents”, he said.<br /><br />The South African ambassador added that the seizure of the funds was in no way related to the Synagogue collapse.<br /><br />“South Africa’s relation with Nigeria is priceless; it cannot be sold for $15m”, he said. <br />

How would you describe your style?<br /><br />It mostly depends on my mood but whatever I am wearing, I like to reflect my personality through it.<br /><br />It is difficult to believe you rarely wear make-up, why don’t you like it?<br /><br />It is not that I don’t like make-up; I just feel that there is no need for that if I am not going for an event. I just like to have my normal looks; I don’t think I have to wear make-up every time I am going out except when I am going for an event.<br /><br />You have a beauty palour, what inspired you to venture into the business?<br /><br />It is because I am a very fashionable person and I’m someone who is very careful about health issues. I found out that people say I love to look good and I check my health all the time to ensure that I am in perfect condition. I noticed that what I do is good for both my looks and health but people take little things like that for granted especially in a place like Nigeria where everyone is always busy. I love relaxing and I found all these things interesting so I decided to educate Nigerians on the importance of taking care of themselves, that is why I chose to run a spa and a beauty salon.<br /><br />What is your weakness when it comes to fashion?<br /><br />I would say perfumes and shoes. I have over 50 bottles of perfumes and they are all designers while I have about 200 pairs of shoes; I have actually lost count of how many shoes I own. I know how it sounds but I am a shoe freak, it could be high or low, it could be slippers, sandals or sneakers depending on what I am wearing. I love shoes generally and I just can’t stop buying them. I also love my perfumes.<br /><br />What is the most laughable fashion mistake you have ever made?<br /><br />There was a period that I used to wear what was referred to as the ‘she-devil make-up’, it is when you have to draw a very long line on your eyebrow and you draw it up at the end. I used to do that type of make-up but now when I see my old pictures where I was on that make-up, I just laugh. I ask myself if I actually did that. I think things like that change with age and time.<br /><br />Can you go bald?<br /><br />It depends. I could but because of my petite stature, going bald would make me look really small and that might not go well with the kind of movies that I shoot. So I am not sure if I can wake up one day and decide to go bald, But if I have to do that because of a movie, then I don’t mind doing that especially if the movie is very challenging and it would propel my career.<br /><br />I noticed you have a golden tooth, is it part of your fashion signature?<br /><br />Actually it is a silver tooth. It is not part of my style, I lost two of my teeth and they were very close to each other. The gap was too much so I decided to put a silver tooth there instead of having the usual fake tooth to replace it.<br /><br />How many tattoos do you have?<br /><br />I have three.<br /><br />Why, do you find them fashionable?<br /><br />I love them. They are creative and I admire it when I see them on people. I love it on myself too; They’re just something I love but cannot explain why I love them. <br /><br />

The death of a male passenger aboard an Arik Air Flight from Nigeria to  JFK Airport on Thursday ,triggered Ebola Fears. The unnamed male passenger who boarded the flight out of Lagos on Wednesday, died during the flight after a fit of vomiting .<br /><br /> According to the  New York post ,congressman,Rep. Peter King said the man had been vomiting in his seat and some time before the plane landed, he passed away leaving 145 passengers in fear.<br /><br />“The door [to the terminal] was left open, which a lot of the first responders found alarming,”My understanding was that the passenger was vomiting in the seat,"The CDC went on the plane, examined the dead body and said the person did not have Ebola,It was what I was told a cursory examination. The Port Authority cops and personnel from Customs and Border Protection were there, and they were told there was no danger because the person did not have Ebola,”<br />
