Joseph Phillip Yobo, born 6th September 1980, is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a
centre back. He was the captain of the Nigerian national team- Super Eagles until his international football retirement in June 2014, just after the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, and he is Nigeria's record appearance holder so far.
