Three Improvised Explosive Devices reportedly went off close to the rally ground of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Okrika, Rivers State today. This caused a stampede, as people gathering for the APC rally scampered for safety.
The party supporters, in their numbers, had gathered and were waiting for the leaders of the party in the state to arrive the venue of the rally. The casualty is still unclear as the security agencies in the State are yet to confirm the incident.
